The bleeding disorders community has a long history of rallying around our families in need. In 2017, the US faced an unprecedented number of natural disasters. So national bleeding disorders organizations such as Hemophilia Federation of America, the National Hemophilia Foundation, the Hemophilia Alliance, Hemophilia Alliance Foundation, LA Kelley Communications, the national network of hemophilia treatment centers and others have partnered to create the “Together We Care” disaster relief assistance fund.*
Americans With Bleeding Disorders Need Your Support!
In Puerto Rico especially, access to clean water, food, transportation, and electricity continue to be extremely limited. The most immediate need for our families is direct financial assistance for short and long-term relief.
Thus far, Together We Care has gratefully received more than $20,000 in support, but we need much more. Our goal is to raise over $100,000 to help these families!
What Will Your Support Do?
- $3,500 repairs a damaged home
- $1,500 builds a new roof
- $500 helps one family for a month
- $50 puts gas in a car
- $25 buys groceries
- $10 buys batteries
Together We Care offers two stages of support:
- Short-term Urgent Funds (Food, water, batteries, gas, clothing, roof tarps, transportation to mainland for families, etc.)
- Long-term (home repair, etc.)
