Announcing HFA’s TEACH Immersion in Spanish & English: Summer/Fall 2018

HFA is excited to bring back the TEACH Immersion (Together we Empower, Advocate, and Collaborate for Hemophilia and other Bleeding Disorders) for 2018! TEACH will offer 16 men, women, moms, and dads from the bleeding disorders community, for three days of educational programming and advocacy training in Washington, DC. This training is designed to educate participants about the legacy of advocacy efforts in the bleeding disorders community, the basics of the legislative process, how to monitor and engage in public policy, and offer tools on how to become a stronger advocate in all aspects of your life. While we will not be meeting with Congressional staff during TEACH, this training will increase your bleeding disorders knowledge by providing valuable educational programming with the  goal of creating strong, well-informed, self-advocates for the bleeding disorders community. We hope you will be able to take what you have learned and apply it in your local community.

HFA is hosting two TEACH Immersions, including one led in English August 11-14, 2018 and one led in Spanish, November 3rd-6th, 2018.

Registration is now closed. Thank you for your interest in HFA’s TEACH Immersion!
