Announcing HFA’s TEACH Immersion in Spanish & English: Fall 2017

HFA is excited to announce a new event for 2017- TEACH Immersion (Together we Empower, Advocate, and Collaborate for Hemophilia and other Bleeding Disorders). TEACH will offer 24 men, women, moms, and dads from the bleeding disorders community, for three days of educational programming and advocacy training in Washington, DC. This training is designed to educate participants about the history of bleeding disorders and advocacy efforts, the legislative process, current policies affecting the bleeding disorders community, and tools to be a better advocate. Our goal is to create strong, well-informed, self-advocates for the bleeding disorders community. We hope you will be able to take what you have learned and apply it in your local community.

HFA is hosting two TEACH Immersions, including one led in English October 21st-24th, 2017 and one led in Spanish, November 4th-7th, 2017.
