HFA’s health and wellness program, FitFactor offers services designed to help those living with a bleeding disorder improve health, fitness, and quality of life through regular physical activity and proper nutrition.

|Gears for Good Bike Rides: Dedicated to encouraging and promoting a healthier lifestyle, these rides are designed to be challenging. They celebrate the dedication to health and wellness for those who work hard to achieve beyond their disorder! The riders raise money knowing that the funds they raise support a critical safety net program for other community peers: Helping Hands! In its 6th year, the DC ride is the most challenging, 3 days, 156 miles on a crushed rock trail. Two additional rides of 1-2 days each in New England and a Midwest or Western location are also planned for 2016.|

|President’s Council on Fitness: The President’s Council engages, educates, and empowers all Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes regular physical activity and good nutrition. The President’s Council is made up of athletes, chefs, physicians, fitness professionals, and educators who are appointed by the President and serve in an advisory capacity through the Secretary of Health and Human Services.|
