Ashley Lacy

Ashley is a passionate public health professional and nurse who has spent most of her adulthood serving the bleeding disorder community in some capacity. This includes helping to plan women’s initiative events, chairing a fall festival, being on annual meeting planning committee, or serving on the board for her local chapter, TN Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorder Foundation (THBDF). Ashley’s mission has always been to serve her community and to help whenever she could. Professionally, she works as a Birth Center Manager to a free-standing birth center in Memphis, TN as well as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. In addition, she spends time volunteering with various organizations within her local community.

What drives you to serve on the HFA Board?

Ashley is eager to serve on the board of HFA to be a resource and to give back to the bleeding disorder community. People with bleeding disorders can face many challenges and as a patient herself, she understands the value of having passionate individuals available for support, advocacy and help when needed.

What do you do to truly relax?

In her free time, Ashley enjoys traveling, especially to the beach, listening to music, baking and spending time with family and friends.
