After finishing residency, she spent time working for the Indian Health Service in New Mexico and at state hospitals in Alaska and Hawaii. Geneva now lives in Baltimore with her husband and three children, where they love spending time with friends, trying new food, traveling, and exploring the city. What drives you to serve on the HFA Board?

Hemophilia runs in my family, and my son has hemophilia. HFA has helped my family immensely, and I want to give back to the community.

Geneva’s favorite words to live by are, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” by Albert Einstein.
