This truly is an all-hands-on-deck moment and speaks to the core of why HFA was founded: to serve, educate, and advocate for the bleeding disorders community. Lest we forget, our community’s lives are more than just numbers, and we cannot let the failures of the past repeat themselves. HFA exists because of you, and for you, and it is through our combined efforts that we can work to prevent another tragedy and loss of life before it happens. We at HFA see the writing on the wall – of cutbacks to protections and programs that we fought so hard to put in place and which came at great expense – and we must not let Congress, or this Presidential Administration, forget who we are.
