Hemophilia Federation of America is a national nonprofit organization that assists, educates and advocates for the bleeding disorders community.
Amongst the options given, I would decide to go with the BlueCross BlueShield plan presented to us. As a preferred provider organization, this plan allows visits within designated health care providers to be covered, allowing for me to have a wide network of providers to choose from. In New Jersey, I firsthand that a large amount of health providers in my area accept BlueCross BlueShield insurance, meaning my options would be fairly open when deciding on who I would want to visit for my different health needs. In regards to specific healthcare services that the plan covers, I appreciate the health home-care coverage in the plan, which is a service I have utilized in the past as someone who only needs to infuse on-demand.
