At Hemophilia Federation of America, our bedrock principle is and always will be access: access to all safe and effective care and treatments for bleeding disorders, as well as access to the quality coverage that pays for such care.
Reproductive care is essential to the health of all women – and is particularly important to women with bleeding disorders. Many in our community have voiced concerns about whether and how their access to care may be impacted by the Supreme Court’s recent reversal of Roe v. Wade.
While it is difficult to tell at this early stage how individual states may respond, be assured that HFA remains vigilant and engaged. HFA will always fight for continued access to all appropriate care for all individuals living with bleeding disorders.
