La comunicación con nuestros hijos e hijas


 
Tener una buena comunicación con nuestros hijos e hijas no siempre es fácil.  Para esto es imprescindible saber estilos adecuados de comunicación para conocer a nuestros retoños más, para saber lo que piensan, para entenderlos más y para saber cómo se sienten.  De hecho, la comunicación entre padres e hijos es esencial para fomentar una autoestima fuerte, una personalidad saludable y unas relaciones personales buenas.
Es muy importante que la comunicación con los hijos tenga un dialogo abierto y positivo y que este enfocada en el amor, el respeto y la comprensión que le tenemos a nuestros hijos. De esta manera nos sirve para establecer contacto, para dar o recibir información y para expresar efectivamente lo que pensamos.
La comunicación no verbal es una que me delata a mí.  ¿También a ustedes? Yo puedo decir algo con la boca, pero las expresiones de mi cara, sobre todo mis ojos dicen más que mil palabras. Les aseguro de que tengo que practicar diariamente a como comunicarme mejor con mis hijas para que esta sea una efectiva.  Sobre todo, practico más el escucharlas y respetarlas. Los padres debemos recordar que no somos perfectos. Que cometemos errores, pero también que podemos mejorar como padres día a día. Lo importante es que los padres se esfuercen en comunicarse efectivamente con sus hijos, desde que estos son pequeños. El resultado será una relación familiar más cercana y positiva.
Cuando tenemos un hijo o hija con un diagnóstico de una enfermedad crónica como un trastorno de sangrado nos afecta como familia. A veces, podemos enfrentar cambios en los sentimientos y el estilo de vida como consecuencia del diagnóstico y su tratamiento. La comunicación y las relaciones familiares se pueden convertir en un desafío y en relaciones hostiles y abrumadoras.  Es este el momento de detenerse y pensar en fomentar unas relaciones saludables y mutuamente solidarias durante este tiempo de desafíos.  Es posible que no pueda hacerlo solo y tenga que buscar ayuda profesional.  ¡Recuerde, La comunicación ayudará a sus hijos a enfrentar el diagnóstico!

Communication with our children

Having good communication with our sons and daughters is not always easy. For this, it is essential to know appropriate communication styles to know and understand our children more, understand what they think, and to understand how they feel. Communication between parents and children is essential to raise strong self-esteem, a healthy personality and good personal relationships.
It is essential that communication with children has an open and positive dialogue, and that it is focused on love, respect and thought we have for our children. In this way, it helps us to establish contact, to give or receive information, and to adequately express what we think.
Nonverbal communication is one that reveals me. To you as well? I can say something with my mouth, but the expressions on my face, especially my eyes say more than a thousand words. I guarantee you that I must practice every day how to communicate better with my daughters, so it is adequate. Above all, I practice listening and respecting them more. Parents must remember that we are not perfect. That we make mistakes, but also that we can improve as parent’s day by day. The essential matter is that parents try to communicate effectively with their children since they are young. The result will be a closer and more positive family relationship.
When we have a son or daughter with a diagnosis of a chronic disease such as a bleeding disorder, it affects us as a family. Sometimes, we may face changes in feelings and lifestyle as a result of the diagnosis and its treatment. Communication and family relationships can become a challenge and hostile and overwhelming relationships. At this moment, it will be the time to stop and think about cultivating healthy and mutually-supportive relationships during this time of challenges. You may not be able to do it by yourself and must seek professional help. Remember, communication will help your children face the diagnosis!
