It is with great pleasure that Baxter applauds the Partnership for Advocacy and Communications Training (PACT) Grant winners. Run by the Hemophilia Association of New Jersey (HANJ) and supported through a grant from Baxter, the PACT Grant Program provides financial assistance to support a wide range of advocacy programs from the bleeding disorders community. The winners, whose proposals were reviewed and selected by an independent review panel, are:
ALASKA HEMOPHILIA ASSOCIATION
ARIZONA HEMOPHILIA ASSOCIATION
HEMOPHILIA COUNCIL OF CALIFORNIA
HEMOPHILIA FOUNDATION OF MICHIGAN
NEW ENGLAND HEMOPHILIA ASSOCIATION
NEW YORK STATE HEMOPHILIA ADVOCACY COALITION
OHIO BLEEDING DISORDERS COUNCIL
THE PENNSYLVANIA CHAPTERS OF NHF
VIRGINIA HEMOPHILIA FOUNDATION & HEMOPHILIA ASSOCIATION OF THE CAPITAL AREAÂ
These nine PACT Grant winners will be recognized at Baxter’s “Your Tomorrow Can Start Today: Finding the Moment” NHF symposium at 7 AM on Saturday, October 31. Baxter celebrates the advocacy efforts of hemophilia organizations across the country. By empowering members, they help protect access to quality hemophilia care.
Since the inception of the PACT Grant Program in 2005, Baxter has provided more than $975,000 for forty two state advocacy initiatives. It is our privilege to serve the hemophilia community, and we look forward to supporting more community-led efforts in the future. Advocacy support, including the PACT Grant Program, is just one more way that Baxter will be there when you need us.
