HFA Receives 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator

Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA) recently earned a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the largest independent charity evaluator in the United States. Charity Navigator’s ratings system provides donors clear, objective, and reliable assessments of the financial health and accountability, and transparency of charities.
Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that HFA exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities, according to Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Hemophilia Federation of America apart from its peers and demonstrates its trustworthiness to the public. Approximately only one quarter of rated charities have achieved this distinction!
“We are proud to earn this distinction from Charity Navigator and remain committed to assisting and advocating the bleeding disorders community while being transparent and responsible with the monies donated to us. Donors can be assured that we are honored to be entrusted with their dollars to best serve the needs of patients and families with a bleeding disorder,” explained Kimberly Haugstad, HFA Executive Director. “Our Board of Directors and staff seriously evaluate how monies are spent and remain committed to maintaining the high standards set by Charity Navigator.”
