On April 24, 2020, Hemophilia Federation of America extended its plan to have all staff who currently work in the Washington, D.C., office to work from home and to halt all staff travel through the end of May.

HFA can assure the bleeding disorders community this will not interrupt communication — all phones and emails will continue to be answered in a timely manner. Working remotely is nothing new to HFA staff — much of the staff already works remotely. HFA has plans in place to ensure the organization is operating business as usual.

Our staff is working with our Member Organizations to reschedule any presentations where they were scheduled to appear. We will continue to monitor the situation and assess staff travel and D.C. office operations beyond April. Any further travel restrictions will be announced here on our website.
