Each year Hemophilia Federation of America honors the service of special individuals who have gone above and beyond in support of the bleeding disorders community. HFA’s 2020 awards were presented during a virtual ceremony on Aug. 25, 2020. HFA celebrates these individuals.
Laveane Lovelady
Special Service Recognition
This award was chosen by HFA staff in recognition of special, behind-the-scenes volunteer work. HFA is pleased to honor Laveane Lovelady with this award in recognition of dedicated service on the committee for HFA’s Helping Hands Program.
Laveane volunteered countless hours over the course of many years during her time on the committee. Her empathy, compassion and advocacy for the bleeding disorders community was integral to the Helping Hands Program in providing support to our most vulnerable community members. We thank Laveane for her service!
