The Hemophilia Federation of America and the National Hemophilia Foundation are pleased to share a new partnership called the Together Project.
Through the Together Project, HFA and NHF will work collaboratively on important issues that affect the bleeding disorders community. The first collaboration is focused on mental health and wellness in the bleeding disorders community, raising awareness, providing resources, and sharing coordinated messaging.
For the first collaborative project, focusing on mental health and launched during Mental Health Awareness Month, each organization is providing resources for the bleeding disorders community such as:
- A hub of mental health resources on their websites
- Interactive and informative activities on social media, such as NHF鈥檚 Facebook Live meditation sessions
- The opportunity for community members and healthcare providers to become certified in mental health first aid through the National Council for Behavioral Health
- Live webinars and recordings of webinars geared toward mental health
Watch HFA and NHF websites and social media for more information and resources throughout May and for future collaborative projects throughout the year.
HFA is not a mental health service provider. Information and resources provided by HFA are intended to provide guidance for those seeking mental health resources.
