After defeating cancer during high school, Matthew graduated high school with honors and went onto college, earning degrees in Computer Programming Technology, Business Studies, and Information Systems.
He and his wife Anna have fostered children for over 18 years, providing a home for 40 children with special needs in that time. They have eight children, including five adopted from foster care, one adopted from Ukraine, and one that passed away from illness. Two of the children Matthew and his wife adopted have Hemophilia VIII severe. They became involved with their local bleeding disorder community and found a home here at HFA.
Matthew serves as HFA’s Director of Technology Services, which means he is involved with all of our technology, from websites to mobile apps and from email to laptops.
