HFA Annual Awards

E ach year, HFA recognizes the service of special volunteers who have stretched above and beyond with their contributions to

make a difference in the bleeding disorders community. Nominations are collected across the country through HFA’s board
and 36 member organizations. HFA’s board of directors has the responsibility of casting the vote for who will receive these awards
of distinction.

Charles Stanley Hamilton The Terry Lamb Health and Volunteer of the Year Award:
Legacy Award: Wellness Award: Lee Hall & Ray Dattoli
Donnie Akers Barry Haarde
Award for extraordinary lifetime Award for exceptional commitment to Michael Davon Community
service that encompasses volunteerism, supporting and encouraging health, Service Award:
professionalism, and leadership. nutrition, and wellness behaviors in Nathan Wilkes
the bleeding disorders community. An award for extraordinary service
TEA (Teach, Empower, to the community via one’s volunteerism
and Advocate) Award: Ron Niederman and charitable giving.
Vicki Jacobs Pratt Humanitarian Award:
An award to an outstanding woman Glenn Mones
who supports women’s bleeding Award for extraordinary service to
disorders issues. the community via one’s professional
