It will introduce you to lap swimming as a form or exercise and competition that may suit us well. People with hemophilia, especially those who have experienced some level of joint problems, often have limited in choices for exercise and sports. Many team sports involve high risk contact and are not wise choices for us. Lap swimming can be performed for personal fitness with you as your only opponent, or on a competitive swim team.
