Submitting any personal information for any HFA publication or communication is optional. HFA is the sole owner of the information collected via its publications and communications. Online Community Guidelines

HFA is delighted to provide and maintain online communications which include social media sites, social forums and blogs. HFA operates and maintains the online communications as a community service to share information about issues, events, HFA programs, and services that pertain to the bleeding disorders community.

If you create an account to access these online communications, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and agree to abide by all copyright and trademark law. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account and are responsible for any harm resulting from the content you post. By posting content on online communications, you represent and warrant that the information is not misleading to other readers, not spam, does not contain viruses and is not advertising or soliciting unapproved business. HFA shall not be liable for any loss or damages arising from the use of HFA’s online communications by any person using the same.

HFA moderates the online communications but cannot review all material that is posted. The ideas, opinions, views and actions shared in comments through the online communications are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the policies or positions of HFA. HFA reserves the right to remove or disable access to any posting which HFA, in its sole discretion, deems to be potentially harmful to any person, deems unlawful or in violation of any third party rights.

Surveys

Your response to surveys will be kept strictly confidential and any information we will report will not contain any identifying information. The information that identifies you will not be shared with anyone except the administrators.

Mobile Applications

HFA does not utilize GPS to track the actual location of HFA app users. GPS will only be used to measure the absolute distance between two reported locations and only when the user requests this to be tracked. If this feature is selected by the user, one of the features it offers is that it can be used to track the total distance exercise during a specific exercise event.

HFA does not engage in the practice of medicine and thus does not give medical advice. HFA recommends that you consult with your physician or local treatment center before beginning any form of treatment.
