Lynne Capretto

Lynne Capretto has more than 40 years of experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. Highlights of her career include working for two hunger-relief organizations, serving as Associate Executive Director of a United Way, teaching at a community college, and working for several anti-poverty agencies. She served as the Executive Director of the Northern Ohio Hemophilia Foundation for the final ten years of her career. Lynne was elected to the Board of Directors of the National Hemophilia Foundation, serving as Secretary and Chair of the Chapter Board Relations Committee during her six-year tenure. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of the World Federation of Hemophilia-USA.

Lynne earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in Sociology from Kent State University and two years of doctoral studies at Case Western Reserve University. She was awarded the Key to the City of Cleveland by Mayor Michael R. White in 2001 for her contributions to the hunger community and the Humanitarian of the Year from the National Hemophilia Foundaon in 2007.
