Novo Nordisk Announces Supply Shortage

Novo Nordisk today announced an important update about the Rebinyn®, Coagulation Factor IX (Recombinant), GlycoPEGylated 3000 IU vial size.

In May 2023, Novo Nordisk launched the Rebinyn® 3000 IU vial size, and the demand for this vial size has outpaced our expectations. This has resulted in a temporary shortage that will lead to intermittent supply over the next couple of months. We will be able to maintain our overall supply of the 500 IU, 1000 IU, and 2000 IU vials, which can be used in combination to make the appropriate dose if you had been using the 3000 IU vial size. If you have questions about how to make your dose, please contact your healthcare provider.
