I am honored to have been chosen as a recipient of the HFA Educational Scholarship. This recognition provides immense support to me as I pursue my education and career goals.

As a hemophiliac who has personally experienced the challenges of living with a genetic disorder, I am deeply committed to contributing to the field of medical research. As an incoming sophomore at Johns Hopkins University, where I am majoring in biomedical engineering, I am driven by a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals facing similar challenges.

My goal is to utilize my education and passion to pioneer advancements in genetic engineering and gene therapies. I am eager to continue my studies, engage in research opportunities, and collaborate with experts in the field to bring innovative solutions to the forefront of medical science.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity this scholarship provides and am committed to making the most of it by pushing the boundaries of scientific discovery and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and technology. This scholarship validates my dedication to the biomedical field and encourages me to continue striving for excellence in my academic pursuits.
